Crip Times: A Podcast Series

Crip Times logo.
The logo for “Crip Times”, a podcast series. “Crip Times” is written in two lines of large yellow text, the “crip” is all caps, the ‘times’ in all lowercase. Below and left justified, is “a podcast series” in blue text. At the bottom is the image is “presented by” in green text, followed by the logos for Bodies in Translation, Tangled Art + Disability, and Wheels on the Ground Productions. The background is bright pink. The image was designed to evoke a vintage floppy disk, with bold, rounded text, and a lighter pink box containing the logos.

Disabled people have long been experts at staying at home, and getting creative with new ways to stay in community with one another. At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, many of us were wondering how we could maintain the sense of intimacy and connection that we get from gathering in crip arts spaces. Out of this desire, Crip Times was born: an interview podcast series produced and hosted by Yousef Kadoura, Kayla Besse, and Kristina McMullin. Crip Times was a project of Bodies in Translation and Tangled Art + Disability.
