A Legally Blind performer/creator for over 25 years, Bruce Horak was born in Calgary, Alberta and has exhibited his work across Canada and abroad. He lost over 90% of his eyesight to a childhood cancer, Bilateral Retinoblastoma. His award-winning theatrical performances include; This is CANCER and Assassinating Thomson. His visual art has been installed at numerous galleries including: The Kelowna Art Gallery, Firehall Art Gallery (Vancouver), The Hatch Gallery (Vancouver), Harbourfront Centre (Toronto), Tangled Art + Disability (Toronto).
